TNPSC, Government of Tamil Nadu has published employment notification for direct recruitment of Civil Judge in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service. The last date for submission of online registration is 7th May 2018. The total vacancies as 320 approximately, by taking into account the guidelines given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Malik Mazhar Sultan vs. U.P. Public Service Commission [2008(17) SCC 703], for the cadre of Civil Judges.

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites online applications from Civil and Electrical Engineering Professionals for direct recruitment of Assistant Engineers in Tamil Nadu Engineering Service, Tamil Nadu Highways Engineering Service and Tamil Nadu Panchayat Development Service. The last date for submission of online applications is 26th March 2018.
Age Limit: 30 Years for General as on 1st July 2018. No Age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all Castes.
Educational Qualifications (As on 28/02/2018):
Assistant Engineer (Civil) -> B.E degree in Civil Engineering or Civil and Structural Engineering (OR) A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examinations under Civil Engineering branch.
Assistant Engineer (Electrical) -> A degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communication Engineering (OR) A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution Examination with Electrical Engineering as a subject.
Assistant Engineer in Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department -> A degree in Civil Engineering (OR) A pass in Sections A and B of the Institution of Engineers (India) under Civil Engineering Branch, subject to the condition that he/she should furnish evidence of having undergone practical training in surveying for a period of not less than one year.
Knowledge in Tamil: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge in Tamil.
Selection Process: Examination (Objective Type) in OMR / CBT Format and Oral Test in the shape of an Interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of the total marks obtained by the Applicants at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments. Applicant’s appearance in the Written Examination and Oral Test is compulsory.
