Strong technical skills with a good grasp of OO concepts and design patterns. Experience in application/Product Development using hibernate and Spring (MVC) framework. Experience with PaaS solutions utilizing Cloud Foundry (Pivotal CF) Strong hands-on experience in developing APIs and policies using Apigee Edge (4g) and in migrating APIs and policies to different versions. Development experience with distributed commercial software applications. Deep understanding of micro services deployment mechanisms and patterns. Experience building distributed / service oriented / microservice-style and cloud based architectures Experience working with Agile, Lean and/or Continuous Delivery approaches and best practices, such as Extreme Programming (XP) Ability to work closely with development and support groups to build cloud ready solutions. Technical Skills Java/J2EE , Javascript , NodeJs experience is a must. Scripting experience with Python and Unix would be a plus. Experience with cloud based APIs / Solutions and Cloud Engineering Design Principlesis a must. Experience with GIT. Able to check in/out, check logs, perform merges, etc. Familiarity with SQL. Able to run remote queries against a database and incorporate such queries into a script. Experience with orchestration technologies such as Chef, Puppet, Heat, Zookeeper etc. a plus. Experience with Jenkins, RTC, JIRA a plus.
