RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop novel algorithms for continues improvements, operational efficiencies
- Analyze Giga/Tera bytes of logs and create observation/opportunities and avenues of improvements in the system
- Identify and apply machine learning solutions at various areas of Integration, whitebox, blockbox testing of device drivers
- Monitor for alerts and root cause the live/off-line aspects for any abnormalities in the system
- Provide developer guidance, coverage analysis, performance analysis, software optimizations, testing and implementation support
- Should be able to come up with recommendations and develop proof of concept and solutions
- Identify technical differentiation opportunities and lead the implementation of identified technical goals
- Collaborating teams within AMD teams
REQUIREMENTS:
- PhD/MS in Computer science or related areas with strong inclination towards learning algorithms is preferred
- 10 year of relevant experience.
- Strong foundations in the mathematical aspects of learning including optimization, linear algebra & statistical modeling
- Hands-on experience in feature engineering and building scalable machine learning algorithms
- Hands on experience working on data analysis
- Excellent problem solving capabilities with strong fundamentals in computer science
- Expert level knowledge on Integration Testing, Automated Testing, Code Coverage analysis, Performance Analysis, White box testing
- Strong understanding of parallel Computer architectures, execution engines, drivers, OS fundamentals
- Strong software design and development skills in one or more high level languages (C#/C/C++/Java etc)
- Expert level Knowledge in one of scripting language (Python, Perl, etc) is a plus
- Proficiency in distributed computing tools like MapReduce/MPI (Cosmos/Hadoop/Spark/Hive etc) is a plus
- Debug/Troubleshoot issues through log files, database, environment etc.
