Job Description:
This position would be an excellent opportunity to join the EGS team in supporting a critical function within the Wells Fargo Enterprise, Mainframe/Distributed/ Midrange batch support.
To assure system availability consistent with corporate objectives by monitoring and controlling application/jobs and equipment in a multi-faceted computer environment using tools Like CA-7/CA-11,TSO,CA-Autosys,SDSF,ISPF2 etc. This position has direct impact on the computer-processing schedule of the Wells Fargo Banking group. They are also responsible for ensuring the appropriate engagement of technical resources required to resolve the issue. Activities include Monitoring, Incident ticket documentation and queue management, receiving and placing phone calls, execution of basic troubleshooting and restoration actions based on recovery instructions, escalating to technical support as required, creating operational documentation for shift transition, providing status updates to leadership, completing required compliance training, completing all required operational documentation, identifying opportunities for process and procedural improvements, and other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities Include: Candidate is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and resolving basic production, application, and system problems to ensure that the data center service commitments are met. Responds to customer inquiries and resolves or escalates problems, as necessary.
